Why We Built AQILA

Small businesses run their websites across a dozen subscriptions and logins. AQILA puts the website and everything around it in one place, on one bill.

Before SSQ, I spent years building websites and software for businesses of every size. The website itself was rarely the hard part. Everything around it was.

A typical small business site depended on a domain registrar, a host, an SSL certificate, a CDN, a form tool, an analytics service, a newsletter platform, and a backup plugin. Each had its own login, its own renewal date, and its own bill. When something broke, the owner had to work out which one to call, and the answer was usually "the person who set it up," who had long since moved on.

That's the problem AQILA solves. Built in SSQ Startup Studio, it gives a business one place for its website and everything that comes with it.

One place

AQILA combines a visual site builder with managed hosting. Domains, SSL, CDN, forms, analytics, and backups are built in, not bolted on. Content, leads, and newsletters live in the same dashboard as the site they belong to.

One bill

Instead of a dozen subscriptions renewing on different dates, AQILA is one subscription with one predictable monthly invoice and one support channel.

An AI partner, not a chatbot

AQILA AI is part of your IT companion. It helps with layout and content, flags broken links and configuration gaps, explains security in plain language, and keeps on-page SEO in shape, so problems get caught before customers notice them.

How it works

  1. Design and build from a template or from scratch, and connect a domain without setting up a separate registrar.
  2. Launch in one click on optimized hosting, with CDN, SSL, and automated backups already active.
  3. Run everything (updates, analytics, and billing) from a single dashboard.

Software, with people behind it

Most website tools hand you a login and a help center. AQILA comes with a team. Our people can build the site with you, and when something needs attention, support replies come through the same dashboard you already use. The AI handles the routine checks, and a person is there for everything else.

Who it's for

AQILA is built for personal projects that should look professional, growing businesses that have outgrown a patchwork of tools, and scaling teams that need several people working on one site without stepping on each other.

Built the way we build everything

AQILA came out of the studio's process: a friction we knew firsthand, validated with the businesses living with it, then engineered by our own team. It also runs the site you're reading. This blog, our contact form, and our analytics are all managed in AQILA.

If your website lives across too many tools, take a look at AQILA.
